Aloe rooikappie 'Little Red Riding Hood'

This clump forming plant has a great mix of structural attributes and rugged cultural qualities. It has bright green triangular leaves spotted with light green dashes. Each leaf tapers nicely and has widely spaced teeth on the edges. Each adult plant within a clump will produce a flower stalk with a red-hot poker-looking cluster of tubular burnished-red flowers. Free-blooming, not dependent on patterned seasonal bloom times, they can produce blooms anytime throughout the year. ‘Rooikappie’ is one of the best aloes for low deserts, where reflected heat and ground temperatures can be oppressive, this plant will not be harmed.

BARE ROOT NOTIFICATION-

Most cactus and agaves are available bare root, this can simplify shipping and dramatically decrease the package weight. Almost all plants over 1 gallon in size will be shipped bare root.

Please note, shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and international have greater costs for shipping. We will help you find the best freight quotes we can. Plants shipped to Hawaii cannot include soil.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING-

We cannot guarantee any plants shipped internationally. Please check with your customs department to see if you need any special certifications. Almost all plants shipped internationally require a Phytosanitary Certificate from the US Department of Agriculture, you can purchase them in our shop.
